Announcing an Advice Column

If Dear Abby and Miss Manners and Ask Prudence and Dan Savage can do it… I might as well throw my hat into the “advice column” ring too.

My plan is to run the column one day a week, answering questions from readers. I have a wide and rich and odd variety of life experiences, and I suspect that I might be able to say something comforting and useful to people in particular sorts of quandaries.

You can email me at hbschwyzer@gmail.com to submit questions; in time, I’ll figure out a good way to have folks submit queries anonymously. Obviously, I’ll use pseudonyms when I share your question! When you write me, put ADVICE in the subject line.

For the first month, the advice column will be public — after that, it will be only available to paid subscribers. (This is a good time to plead with you to consider a paid subscription!)
